What is and why does “Right of Representation and Participation exist?

The “Right of Representation and Participation” training  is one key activity that “Albanian Alps Alliance” network is organizing, on behalf of the project “Regional Natural Parks Need Sustainable Management” in order to address important issues in their communities. The training will include referrals from lecturers who will be well-known biodiversity and resource management experts at the local level, digital skills lecturers and online presence (timely information). Part of the agenda will also be familiarizing with the laws and administrative responsibilities of a natural park, methods of preparation and provision of information, good governance examples, etc. At the end of the training, the trainees will be equipped with a certificate, which will be released jointly by the EU, PACT and AAA.

Positive change is possible only through comprehensive and a proactive approach and that can be done with young people who want to learn and then to invest their time and knowledge in development of their  area through law enforcement, good governance, anti-corruption, tourism development, community activism, social entrepreneurship and by raising awareness about positive examples.
