\nSummer School “Values for peace” Tuzla 19.-25.July 2018<\/p>\n

The Balkans let\u2019s get up! programme connects theory and practice of active citizenship, to provide us with the capacities to implement our own ideas and bring the change in oursociety. It consists of six steps and lasts from July 2018 until April 2019:<\/p>\n

What is already done:\"\"\u2705<\/span><\/span>
\n1. At the Summer School Values of Peace vol.2 between 19th and 25th July 2018 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina we discussed relevant social topics, learn aspects of project development, get familiar with existing work in the field and develop our own project ideas;<\/p>\n

How we communicate, what is our role in community, what can we do, how to develop project ideas…? We answered all those questions with passion and valor.<\/p>\n

Who is “us”? Good question\u00a0\"\"\ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nBalkans, let\u2019s get up! Organization aims at strengthening the civil society in the Balkans through civic education. We, participants are activists in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo and Serbia. Despite the different developments that each of the countries has undergone in the last decades, BLGU focuses on the similarities in the historical, current political and economic development, the social environment and the cultural background of the people living there and most important: the development of the civil sphere. Thus BLGU addresses common challenges and seek for common solutions, enabling young adults to encounter, learn from each other, build lasting friendships and work together during and after the programme ends.<\/p>\n
